The HeadHead platform recently convened a productive hybrid meeting, bringing together members to reflect, plan, and align on the platform’s strategic direction. Chaired by the platform’s leadership, the session focused on strengthening institutional growth and shaping a shared roadmap for the future.
Key discussions highlighted the importance of consistency and structure, with proposals for regular meetings to maintain momentum and accountability. Members also emphasised the need to formalise the platform through registration with the Ministry of Education, recognising legal compliance as a foundation for credibility and long-term sustainability.
The draft roadmap identified priority areas including legal frameworks, school administration, and marketing strategies.
Beyond operational matters, participants underscored leadership wellness as a critical pillar, proposing an annual retreat to support reflection, as well as renewal among leaders.
To support sustainability, membership contributions were reviewed, with a suggested annual fee of UGX 1,000,000 per institution, alongside proposals for flexible adjustments for institutions with multiple members. These discussions reinforced the importance of shared financial responsibility in strengthening the platform’s programmes and services.
The meeting concluded on a celebratory note with the presentation of Maxwell leadership certificates and a group photo session, reaffirming Head2Head’s commitment to recognising growth and achievement.
As HeadHead moves forward, members expressed optimism about deeper collaboration, improved school outcomes, and the continued development of impactful leaders. The agreed roadmap serves as a guide, reminding members that progress is built through shared vision and intentional investment in people.
